District of Columbia

Recently: Best of Mobile

For a change of pace, I decided to put together a collection of photos taken with my iPhone 6, since I mostly feature my work with my Nikon D800 on this blog. It's spring in the District of Columbia, which means that cherry blossoms are in full bloom and springtime activities are gearing up after a long winter.

I took a long walk around the Tidal Basin, and snapped this photo of a tourist sitting next the Dr Martin Luther King Jr. memorial. Edited in Lightroom mobile

It's running season in DC, so strap on your brightly colored clothes and shoes and get out there!

There is a lot of change happening on H St NE, and this wall knows it.

Early Spring in DC

Earlier this spring, I went to the national mall to play tourist for the day.

A few days before I went to take photos DC got 4 inches of snow and it was all in the process of melting, which led to some very wet ground, and lots of puddles! While I don't visit the mall terribly often, it is one of the coolest places to take visitors, and I still think it's so cool that I live so close.
